A bit about therapy

When something feels stuck, we can get curious.

Emotional, professional, and relational conflicts can leave us feeling lonely or unsure of how to move forward. Therapy creates a place to slow down and make sense of what you are experiencing.

We can pay attention to the familiar patterns that keep returning, including the parts of yourself that feel difficult to name. Understanding often begins with being able to speak more freely.

The work

What happens between us matters.

The way we relate to others can become visible in the therapy room, too.

With individuals, I work from a relational psychoanalytic perspective. We pay attention to the feelings and expectations that arise in your relationships, including our work together. With couples, my training in Emotionally Focused Therapy helps us slow down recurring interactions and understand what each partner is reaching for beneath them.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the music industry with artists, musicians, touring professionals, and executives. I later earned a master’s in mental health counseling from Brooklyn College and completed psychoanalytic training at the Training Institute for Mental Health.
