ABOUT ME

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in music, I went on to work in the music industry, working with artists, musicians, touring professionals, and executives. After my own personal struggles with a difficult health diagnosis, my perspective on life shifted and I decided to become a therapist in order to help others who were struggling and fulfill my true purpose.

After graduating with my master’s in mental health counseling from Brooklyn College, I went on to complete my psychoanalytic training at the Training Institute for Mental Health. This is a rigorous post-graduate process that requires multiple years of being in one’s own therapy multiple times per week as well as meeting with multiple supervisors, engaging in peer supervision, and taking didactic seminars each week. I feel this has truly fueled my own growth as a healer.
